    White Bubbly Foam in My Ameraucana's Left Eye

    It sounds like an infection. I would clean out the chicks eye, use a saline solution such as contact lens cleaner. It might need a antibiotic such as gentamycin eye ointment. Call your feedstore tsc or vet in the morning.

    As with any animal I believe it's how you treat them. Years ago people never thought you could love or cuddle a chicken and granted maybe not every chicken you can. If you raise your chickens as chicks they will learn to trust you and will gladly give up their eggs and some will proudly do so...

    Winter Olympic Games

    I watched womans freestyle skiing last night and we got the gold and silver I believe. Apollo was amazing! The us won bronze too, such a courageous comeback for him(sorry can't remember his name)

    Does anyone regret getting chickens?

    NEVER!!!! Last year I lost most of my whole flock to the nieghbors dog and really missed them. Sometimes you get one or two that's a pain, but all and all I just love having chickens.

    I had australops a few years ago. They were very sweet and docile and layed an egg about every other day or so.

    We want ducks, need help to make up my mind on breed.

    I have jumbo pekings and fawn and white runners. I love them. The pekings are big and white,sweet and my runners are very friendly and comical.

    Please help me pick the right mail order company

    Most of the companies are good and comparable. Go with who is closest. It gives the chicks the besy chance especially in the cold weather. I like meyers they are in ohio and only five hours from me. I have purebred ameraucana but order red sex links every couple of years for eggs.
