    Sorry I gave Blanche's egg to my friend yesterday who just loves the "real" eggs and not the store bought ones...It had a special note: "To Jeremy with Love, Blanche" Im sure it is an omelet this morning! I'll keep the long egg and the next time I will compare it...It is about 3 inches...

    How many eggs do you get a day from your chickens?

    I have a pen set up much like yours...My 10 LF are laying about 6-8 eggs a day while the bantam girls are laying about 4-5 with a pen of 7 hens in there...The weather is so crazy here..80 degrees in March in Indiana!

    Spare bathroom for me.....that way I can camke sure they are kept clean, warm and out of harms way...CONFESSION...the I use the john for a seat to watch my babies for hours...
