    It could probably be done without welding. The flag pole is 1/2 black pipe going into a reducer to one inch pipe.     Puling the flag pole toward the ground lowers two dolly wheels. you can see the wheels in the inside coop picture. Some welding and metal fab were required.

    Chickens on the Tree Lawn coop. I built a really neat chicken tractor. Flag pole doubles as a wheel lift. The cable you see raises and lowers the coop door for the birds to get in an out.
