And we have another hen sitting on duck eggs. (She's a biter, no sense trying to take them) so I can look forward to that as well. Both the remaing chicks still are healthy and seem normal. :)
Passed away an hour ago. I had a chance to inspect it a bit more afterwords, it had no scales on its leg, it's foot, leg and hip all on the same side were deformed. It's little wing on the same side was also deformed. :( I can only assume it's insides were deformed as well. It's a miracle it...
If it survives, yes, we will keep it. It's hard to tell what breed she is, we have quite the barnyard mix. I suspect other problems as well, her bottom looks different, bulgy is the better word for it. :/ otherwise she's peeping and lively.
I've got this plant growing in my garden. It's kinda pretty but it appears to have a spiky kinda fruit growing on it after the big white blossoms that appeared last week. Any ideas what it is? I need to know in case it's harmful to my chickens and ducks.
