    well thank you all, ive figured out all they want is the dog food, and now they got bored with the porch and stay off

    its getting annoying, the chickens eat all the dog food, so my poor dog is left hungry, and all the poop on the porch is nasty.... just wanted to see if there is any way some of yall have found that works to keep them off besides a gait

    ok, thank you. my chickens are a free range on our property, with lots of shade, i have (i think) 6 RIR, 2 BR, and one guiney, and just wanted to add some more to my little flock and wanted to know about the different breeds thank you for all the help!

    Whats sd is the dog was tied up, he ws a foster from our local shelter, a sick dog with tick disease and verry under weight, at first he seemed nice, but he is going back to the shelter, im not risking my chicks for him

    oh i hope not, im new to chickens, i studied them in college, but never had my own, i think after looking harder that its dislocated, she can still wiggle her toes, but cant get it to fully move, but still eating and drinking allright, she might just hve to be my porch chicken
