    Hen with Swollen Abdomen

    2 days ago I noticed this in my 18month hen, shes still laying, acting normal etc.....Keep us posted. I actually suspect that mine has a tumor of some sort, but since there is no change in behavior I am going to let her enjoy life until I see signs of illness or pain. Good Luck to you!

    I think BCM is Black Copper Maran, but I have never seen it with an "s" at the end, maybe the above person was meaning it in a plural way??? IDK

    ITs pretty swollen, but I hope your right CMV!!! Its a good 2-3 inches below the vent, so I didnt think it was the butt??, and its about a baseball size! I am gonna read on the EYP, and hopefully get some tips if there is anything I can do. She was acting fine just wobbleing a bit more...

    Mine just started to crow at 23 wks. I was hoping he didnt have a voice lol Nope. He now crows but luckily not to much so I put him in the garage in the early morning, turn on the light, then he stops and goes outside by 9am

    We just showed ours for the 1st time 3 weeks ago in a county fair. I watched some videos on utube about how to get them ready. I never imagined I would bathe a chicken or file their nails lol One got 3rd! The judge told me to feed them dog food about a month before to have them gain weight...

    when will my rooster know how to fertilize eggs??

    Hi, I have a 24 week old blue cochin rooster, who my hens dominate? When will he figure out how to be a rooster & make babies?? Lol. I thought he would b able to fertilize eggs by now, but maybe not, esp. Since he has NO clue how???? Any advice??
