    Feather seeing EE chicks

    She is pretty... I have two Barred Brahma Boys.. They are beautiful. Can't keep them though :( They are 19 weeks and haven't started crowing yet. All my other boys have been rehomed by 14 weeks at the latest because of doodle-dooing... I just don't want a repeat of last year. 9 hatched and 7 boys.

    Thanks. I was hoping that it would work like some other breeds. Still hoping I have 3 girls and 1 boy, not the other way around. I haven't tried vent sexing yet. I had two hatch today that are 1/2 strength EE's... perhaps I will go have a look at the vent.

    Back-to-back broodiness

    We just re-homed 7 roosters that hatched this spring. One of my girls had only boys hatch so all her 12 week olds have left. She started laying a few weeks ago prior to their departure but in the last day or so is trying to set on any eggs being laid. I have told her she can't have any more...
