Can someone please help us identify these 6 ducklings from Tractor Supply. The workers told us they came in a bin that just said “assorted” and they didn’t know what they were. Any help? Sharing pics of

Yes! The whole dark side is a chick…takes up a lot of space now since it’s due to hatch in a couple days. It’s been moving all along. I saw it move tonight as I was candling it. I’m positive it’s alive in there. It just seems like it’s only on one side of the egg! I’ve hatched a lot of chicks...
Hi everyone!
I noticed the first time I candled my Silkie eggs that this one looked different. I believe the air cell is detached or just abnormally large and I assumed the chick would at some point stop growing. But it never did… so I kept the chick in the incubator. Now we are on day 19 and...
Thank you so much, that’s actually was very informative and I was able to follow it! Some of this genetic talk is very confusing. I have a lot to learn!
I see, thank you. If by chance my rooster was dominant white...he could mix with black? The last picture I posted has two brown chicks with my black hen, (not necessarily their real other since all eggs were mixed together) I’ve hatched some babies before for fun. I’m assuming the brown chicks...
Hi everyone!
I’m in the beginning stages of starting up a Silkie breeding program to sell hatching eggs. 😊
I currently have two very handsome bearded white Roos, 2 white hens, a partridge hen, a black hen and two blue hens.
I’m researching genetics and from my understanding... I can’t mix all...
The coop is too big for just for 4. I’d like to put some other colors in there but I don’t want mixed colors with leakage... I’d like to keep the babies white, partridge, blue, etc...the known Silkie colors. I’m just not sure how the genetics works with the white Roos.
Hi everyone! I’ve been a chicken owner for about 5 years now. I have about 40 chickens, all different breeds. I’ve been researching a good way to make $ off these chickens (so they can finally earn their keep... selling eggs for eating isn’t cutting it 😆) I’m very interested in selling Silkie...
Becky update...she’s doing amazing! She’s not even at the bottom of the pecking order like I expected her to be. She’s friendly yet feisty and will stand up for herself if need be! She’s been getting along great with all others! All her feathers grew back too!
Oh between her legs.... ok she feels soft there. I checked yesterday when I gave her a bath thinking she’s was eggbound and it was soft then...still soft now.
