I was going to guess frizzle cochin so it seems a bunch of us have the same idea.

I also have a rescued frizzle cochin who was a rooster in hiding until he got to my place and began to crow--once he did not fear being killed by other roosters. He is a totally hilarious, personality-filled little bird who is so ugly that he's completely adorable. I think you may be in for some fun times with this girl. Thank you for rescuing her!

And yes OP, thanks so much for saving this girl. We'll see if she grows feathers back eventually. She's still pretty cute even without them. I just worry for her if it gets cold.

I love that laying means she’s content! That makes me so happy!! I thought lack of laying was bc of her physical state...I didn’t even think of it being affected by her emotional state! (She laid her second egg since she’s been with me this morning )

I got a frizzle chick from the feed store last year. It's a frazzle half naked like Becky. Of she even runs against something her feathers break.

Becky update...she’s doing amazing! She’s not even at the bottom of the pecking order like I expected her to be. She’s friendly yet feisty and will stand up for herself if need be! She’s been getting along great with all others! All her feathers grew back too!
