It snowed enough to leave a layer on everything. It's eerily still out there now. Only alert I've gotten is its windy

Rightttt. I knew it was going to get cold, when I looked out and saw snow I was almost stunned.

I heard yet another tree fall good thing I'm working on replacing these trees around the house

Glad we cleared away all the old trees around the house! Still plenty in the woods around us, but none hazardous to the house.

I'm in the process of getting everything close enough to fall on the house cut and I'm replacing with American filbert plants, pawpaw, plums etc trees that will be useful, give a little shade, and not grow big enough to be a danger to my house

Ty! I planted a filbert last year and I have my own pawpaw patch to take a few seedlings from! I have no other fruit trees on my property except juneberry trees and choke cherry plants. Soo many oak trees, maple, and elm trees.

I forget dogwood in my list of what I have! I will get pics her soon when they flower. I also have a bunch of redbuds, last year I made a redbud tea and it was surprisingly good.

And some kind of hawthorn tree! It's struggling but I'm hoping this year is It's year.

Yes cherries! I've been thinking some cherry bushes for pie cherries and a few trees of sweet cherries.

Just need to build large raised beds to put in some better draining soil

She's piebald dapple I think. Her mama had kind of wirey hair, not real long. So I don't know for sure how her hair will turn out. Obviously not slick coat, but maybe not real long either.
She's 7 weeks tomorrow.
She is a little monster
But ooohhh sooo sweet too.

This freezing cold
Has threw a wrench in potty training. She has done amazing so far for how little she is. Goes almost immediately , when I put her in the grass. But of course last night , and this morning was pure torture for her. I felt like the monster putting her down on that freezing cold ground! She looked up at me wide eyed like
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME I thought you loved me!
