Need help...how to remove wing bands?
Mine are banded because they are guaranteed to be homozygous, and registered with a studbook. Without them, if you throw them in with chicks from Joe down the street, now which ones are they? and now they are adults in the yard, but they look kinda like those other birds too... No Crow roo collar?
True. If they are banned then don't go getting ALL chickens banned! I love my roo because he looks after his girls. He's always willing to tell the dog where to go and watching the skies. I saw him send them scuttling for cover when he saw an airplane the first time, lol. Plus I never have to...- MikaLind

Home made no crow collar.
My area allows roosters, but they fall afoul (or afowl? ) of the same laws as a barking dog. The no crow collar has allowed me to keep both Penelope and the neighbors. My concern is he started sneezing today, and of course his crow is raspy. Could the collar cause respiratory distress?- MikaLind
