    Won't it confuse the hens putting them with a new rooster so quickly after having a different one? I know about them figuring out here peck order. I just don't want to stress the girls from changing them to a new coop and rooster. Although they have seen him and been around him at times...

    I have lowered it. If they get too hot they get away from light right? The 2 that j have now seem fine and rest underneath and around the light. No its not medicated. I choose not to go that way and try let them go naturally and not have to rely on medicine.

    Thank you. Yea I don't know either. So when they died in there mouth was like saliva I guess you can say.? Like it threw up. Don't know how to explain and I don't know if that is something coming out from them having something inside. Sorry if I did kot make sense.

    I give my hens premium pellets. I thjnk 16 percent protein and they free range as well for half the day. There feed is non gmo it's called halfmoon. It's milled here in washington.     Thanks. Yea I will be trying 35 for humidity. My problem was I had it around 30 or 25 then put it up to 40 the first time. So maybe having it ready this time will make it better.
