Well he's being protective he has a mate that is in season so hes trying to keep the cat away form her. the cat thinks hes playing so will play with him but he doesn't want to play he only wants the female to himself & will fight if someone like the cat doesn't get the message to back off
its a charge there just telling the chickens there nervous and to close so they will dart after them. the shivering is a warning display but its hard to see so u usaly only see a duck running after u with head down
they will be fully feathered by 4 months and start to feather my 2 months. You can put the ducklings in a cage so the adults can check them out with out hutring them, if there nice let the ducklings hang around with the adults. but watch them incase someone gets aggressive
cover up all of its holes but one, back the car up to the last hole while its running. carbon monoxide will kill em. just need to find a way to make the exhaust reach
i have only an acre and they built house all around me so i dont want the ducks having anymore babys because some of the new neighbors are a pain in the bum.
i have 13 hens so if i want an egg i take in in and uses it if i dont i can just wait a day someones bound to lay an egg. lol
shes doing everything right just its to cold out. Muscovys are tree ducks like wood ducks so as soon as they all hatch its time for them to jump out of the nest and head for water
