I separated the chick so it won't have to struggle for food with the rest. Litter is stuck to the leg again and I'm scared peeling it will make some of its skin come off with it. Can I put the leg in warm water for the litter to come off itself?
I have a week old broiler chick with an injured leg, the litter is attaching and drying onto the wound. I tried peeling it off but some parts of the skin came off with it. It seems to be doing fine but I noticed it lays down a lot especially to feed. I don't know if maybe applying an antibiotic...
Just lost another pullet, less than 15 hours from the last one.... So sad. I have no idea where things are going wrong, they just end up on their sides all stretched.
I got about 70 chicks, 35 brown pullets and 35 broilers, not so sure the breed. Put them in their breeder and the seemed to be doing fine. At day 3 I lost one of the pullets and now at day 5 I just lost another of the pullets. None of them showed any symptoms of being sick. I'm really worried or...
