    After worrying they might not hatch, 3 chicks have hatched today 😊 Anxiously waiting for more. I think we have a staged hatch, when is best to moved unhatched eggs into incubator?

    Yes her nest was accessible to 4 other hens, we moved her to a new coop approx 14 days after sitting on them. I have the incubator ready if needed 😊 I think we are on day 26 and still nothing!

    Yes weather has cooled down over the past 7 days in my area. Still nothing yet but hen still keeping them warm 😊

    First hatch under a Mama Hen!

    How many days did it take for them to hatch? I have a hen sitting on 14 eggs for approx 25 days but nothing has happened. Candled at 18 days and I’m sure they looked how they where meant to! First timer 😊

    My hen is broody and sitting on 14 eggs, I think noticed her 23 days ago. I have moved her to a separate coop and candled at approx 18 days (dark with air line at the bottom) I’m unsure how many days she has been “incubating” them. What shall I do?, how long shall I wait? Will they hatch First...

    Help! I have just moved my 10 day old chicks into this, their old brooder got to small! They keep eating sawdust and flying round will they end up hurting themselves??

    I have got 2 10 day Bluebelles coming tomorrow I will introduce them slowly. I will be adding 2 Silkies when they are around 14 weeks but I can keep them separate for a while. I'm sticking at 6 I promise
