    Update: Checked on the baby this morning. I do still see a slight lump, however, it has went down tremendously. Im so glad, I was worried probably for nothing!

    I have 15 5day old chicks. One of them has a large mass!? Also is does something I have never seen any of the other do. It stands up tall a kind of wiggles it's body around. I'm afraid something is wrong with it. Please help! It's kind of hard to see in the pictures

    Update: 15 eggs hatched on the 21st. They are 5 days old. One of the chicks seems to have a large mass accompanied by strange behavior.

    The 3 other hens take turns going in, I think some of the eggs are probably theirs

    No, there is one hen that stays all the time covering most of them, and 3 other hens that go in from time to time and sit on the ones she cant cover. So there are periods where some of the eggs are not covered.

    How many eggs are too many? When I went out to mark them yesterday there were 25! I'm not sure if I should get rid of some, or what I should do!?

    I believe so. I have yet to see her off the nest. I have tried not to bother her only once to check if there were any eggs under her, (she didn't seem to mind). I had read an article that said if she was bothered too much she would abandon them?

The Hen with the white earlobes is the one that keeps going in and sitting with the hen that is on the eggs(I have yet to see her off of them), it's only been a couple days, but Im fairly sure the white earlobes hen laid some...
