    A single spot on each, all 9 rooms had A white spot on their head, even these birchen or leakage ones.

    All 9 roos from that hatch had white spots, the father could be a cross, maybe Americans and rock? This guy and 3 like him and the 5 barred ones. We kept one and gave one away for breeding, both this look.

    He was hatched by a broody hen, 4 of them. Daddy is barred rock, mama could be light brahma, brown leghorn, or americauna. Unfortunately the barred rock and americauna could be mixed too. All the roos (9) from the hatch were sexlinked with a white dot in their head, even the barred ones.

    This may be too old a thread but Is this a gold birchen? They are really pretty, some purple iridescent tail feathers. Someone said they thought it was birchen.

    So how do you get a Birchen? Do they crop up in blue/black/splash breeding programs?

    I think i have 4 roos with the coloring you are looking for if you are still looking lol. Was asking on another site what their coloring was called and was told birchen. They are very pretty. I'm in so cal.
