    Thank you everyone - this forum is so friendly and helpful, I appreciate the time people take to answer my questions. I guess we give her a little more time and if the baby gets to be fluffy and still not opened the eyes, we will try the soft damp cloth.

    Afternoon of day 22: We have cheeping sounds!!!!!!! She is not letting me see anything yet, but I can definately HEAR them! Now I will try to at least work out how to add a pick of my very protective Mum and proud Dad! Hopefully that will work - computers are not my first language!
