    I bet that blue Marans is beautiful. I am excited about these Bresse if these cockerels are excellent eating it will be a lot nicer to raise them rather that the Cornish X for meat. Those home grown Cornish X are hard to beat though. Only time will tell, I’m going to fry one of these cockerels...

    I’m sure these 4 month old Bresse cockerels are at least 6 pounds maybe more. At 3 months when I separated them from the others they were round and meaty not lanky like a normal cockerel.

    Hi so are you just looking for private breeders of Orloff or are hatchery Orloff ok? Looks like stormberg hatchery has them. I have no idea of quality though. I thought Greenfire Farms had them but doesn’t look like they do anymore.

    My roos flogging ends tomorrow

    I put them in ice water till they cool out good then dry off with paper towels and put in a bag and pop in the fridge for 3 days then eat or freeze
