I'm a first time goose mom. I raised them in the house for the first 3 weeks and they've been outside now for about a week. They are African goslings and they are so sweet. This is them with their little Welsh Harlequin brother.
I'm having a problem with my drakes choking on shavings. They are about 10 months old and they have had shavings in the coop for months. Has anybody else had this problem? I have a camera in my coop and I have to go out approximately 2 times a night to help them. Help! This has only been...
I'm giving my rooster tylan 50 for a respiratory infection. I'm giving .5 cc twice a day orally. He's a lot better, but he's still congested and his eye is still swollen a little. Today is the 4th day. How long do I need to give it to him?
I have 2 Welsh Harlequin females who are approximately 6 months old. I've seen them mating with the males for at least a month. When should they lay and is there something to look for when they're getting ready?
I have 2 females and 2 males breeding age. They are approximately 6 months old and I've seen them mate for at least a month. When will the eggs start and is there anything to watch for to see when they're getting ready to lay?
Ok, that's what I'm concerned about. I'll probably keep them in the garage for 3 weeks or so and then put them in the coop in the brooder box so they can all get acquainted. The ducks I have now are just 3 1/2 months old, not mature but big.
