    For those of you with chickens in the city/town....

    In my neighborhood we are allowed up to 15 hens, no roos. And they are supposed to be pets who happen to lay eggs; we're not supposed to use any of them for meat. We could, technically, have more hens, but would need to apply for a special permit.
