I am so happy to join this site and have the ability to enjoy the knowledge shared and love that others have for their chickens ( and all other manner of poultry). I have a great love for my young flock and raised them from day old TSC chicks to 3 day old silkie breeder chicks. They all have personalities and provide entertainment and enjoyment for me and my family. My first step to owning chickens was to provide eggs for my family. I researched and read and investigated for over 2.5 years on what breeds I would have, their home we would build the best way to setup for chicks the best way to integrate chicks to an already established flock, etc. What I have learned is everyone has their own way of doing things and sometimes my waybis different but it works for me and mine. I have also learned that I LOVE my chickens lol 😂. I am excited to share this journey with others and am glad to be able to be here to do it.
