I have two hens that hatched out 12 chicks :D this past Sunday and Monday, the first time they brought their chicks out into the yard we/they somehow managed to lose 3 chicks :( that we found dead a day or two later, so yesterday we decided to leave the hens and chicks 'locked' up in their pen...

Well I know the white one is a female, and the other a male, but I'm not sure how to decide what breed they are, they are both fully feather footed, and more 'robust' then most chickens I've seen before, can anyone give me an idea of what breed they are?

Nevermind, lost the chick that hatched :(, one was not fertile and the other was far too underdeveloped.. That's alright, we've got 9 chicks to work with.. And I'm excited. :D
