I am not completely sure, but I do know that some people keep eggs at room temp. So I would think they would be fine. Here is a link that may be helpful:

I am new to having chickens. At first we clipped both wings. But all four of our Orpingtons could still get over the 5ft fence. The we started clipping just one and let the other one grow out. They did a few face plants, but don't even try to escape anymore.
I am fairly new to having chickens as well. Buy my first four chickens started laying mid summer. They usually lay their eggs between 10 and 2 pm daily. I am always there to collect on weekends. But during the week, the eggs stay in the coup until I get home at 6pm. I live in Louisiana, summers...
I agree, they are pretty. My girls named them Penny and Maria. I was hoping for colored eggs just for the fun of it. But I am glad to be getting 5-6 eggs per day. No more buying eggs!
My pullets were hatched mid October. None of them are acting the way my Orps did before they started laying.
Also, I was told these new birds were one year and one and a half years old.
But who knows?
