I need help please 😔
My silkies suffered a red mites infestation. Currently the mites are being dealth with but unfortunately, one of my silkies had somehow become lame on one leg. His left leg seems to be weak. He can still move it somewhat but he can't put weight on it to support himself...

Cochins seem to fare very well with the heat and rain here. It gets super hot and humid around this time of the year but I haven't lost a chook to sunstroke yet so I take it as a good sign 😁 if you could get yourself a Cochin, please do! They're super affectionate, some even follow you around...
Well currently it is only this one particular hen that has strayed and stayed in my yard. For now 😅 not sure if she's gonna go and spread the word of the comfy coop she's found and rally up her gang! 🤣
Thanks! Im planning to try that out 😁 I have a question though. To get a proper breed, does that mean a Giant Cochin has to cross with these chicks as they mature? Or a Jungle Fowl? Male? Female?
How does it work, does anyone know?

Looks like it's 2 males and 2 females.
A pair of reds and another pair black and white. Not sure where the white came from, perhaps it crossed with my white Giant Cochin?

Wing feathers are starting to fill in, these chicks run super fast! Not as docile as the Giant Cochins. Leg feathers are coming in too 😁
Looks like an onset of fowl pox, so started treatment for the chicks

He's currently feeling under the weather, so we've isolated him to get a good rest before letting him out with the others again.
