Hi now does anyone have a lavender orpington rooster with a barred rock hen cross? We will be joining our flock for the summer and I am curious to see what the offspring could be.
Put these in about 7:30 PM last night after 3 days at steady 100°. I got up this am to the thermometers reading 106 and 104. Took lid off and got it back down to 99 and staying steady there. Today's eggs are going in out little Janoel12 to see if we can get at least some of them to work out...
12 hrs in woke up to incubator at 106° to 110° will candle at day 5 or 6 I told the kids we wouldn't candle this batch but I guess we will. We lost our rooster on the 18th so only have a few days to see the outcome collecting more eggs just to make sure we can replace any that are not making it.
These are our three babies. Can we tell this soon if they are pullets? The first one is the Lavender orpington rooster with the Buff hen chick.
The other two are barred rock chicks. Let me know what you think
