I currently have 26 eggs in the incubator that are due to hatch this coming weekend. I just discovered one of my hens has gone broody (of course she couldn't do this a couple weeks ago). Would it be too late for me to give her a few of the incubator eggs to hatch. She has never hatched eggs...

Candled my eggs this morning and so far all 15 look good although a couple are questionable because they are darker shells and hard to see.

Okay, thanks for the input. Maybe the other hens give her a hard time. I do have another hen who seems to stay in the nest boxes longer than the others. I usually have to shoo her off after a while to collect eggs. Maybe she will be my broody hen. I'll have to watch and see.
