We use a Dickeys cabinet that has 3 trays for incubation and 1hatching tray. We also have 2 styrofoam bators that we use for hatcher as sometimes we will be hatching a hundred + eggs. Our cabinet has definitely increased our success rate due to being more stable temps and humidity.
All of my bourbons started laying in April the year after they were hatched. We get about 4 a week from each hen. We incubate all the eggs. The ones that we have let the turkeys hatch dont seem to survive long.
My Narragansett poults like like your darker one but so do my easterns although they are darker. Can't help with the white ones. Bourbon reds are usually yellow with a buff head and wings.
We hatch out 70+ poults every spring. They always get raised with chicks. They get warm days on the grass at 2 weeks. I have not had poult losses any higher than chick losses.
8x12 the coop is 4x8. I use a reflective padded insulation under the tarp this make them last a lot longer. Also make sure they are tight. It is just over 6' down the center.
We have 4. I painted the pop doors different colors yellow on the grow out coop so yellow coop. Blue in my blue cochin project coop so blue coop. Red on our laying coop. And an old dog kennel for temporary use it has a screen door of hardware cloth so screen coop
