    Have been using sand in the run for 3 mons..now what?

    Ok to be in coop?

    Conventional wisdom says to start chicks out at 90 degrees, then reduce temperature by 5 degrees each week. 90-15=75. I would put a lamp in the coop.

    Finished Coop!

    I finished the coop today and the girls have moved in. I borrowed heavily from "The Feather Factory" I'm looking forward to our family's adventure with chickens. I can't wait for the eggs.
