I'm at work at the moment so I'll post a pic in the am. They have pretty much taken over my indoor porch area so I'm not sure space is an issue but they are going outside on Sat and they'll have plenty of room. Anything I can put on the injured ones wounds?
I have around 10 chicks that I got 2 months ago. 2 ended up being fairly large Leghorns, much bigger than the others. Well, the little ones pecked one to death and now they are working on the other one. I have the injured one in my dogs crate and the others really did a number on its backside...

My friend who is bringing the trap is an exerminator and I'll see what he says. The only reason I bought it was to mask the human sent but I see what you mean. We plan on putting the trap back in the woods a bit.

I have a bunch of baby chicks that are almost a week old (got them in the mail on Monday) and was wondering if anybody gives their babies things to play with. I figured they may be bored sitting there in their little house with nothing to do. lol

She and/or he will be absolutely fine. Mine are very hardy and don't seem to notice the cold weather any more than the other girls. They can almost retract their neck and cover most of the exposed skin up.
Well, thank god for that. I can't knit. lol
