Chick hatched with wry neck. (Pics)

Thank you so much for the advice. I'm not sure what gas this creates, but googling it, it sounds like others have used it and it's done its job too. This sounds like the most pleasant way for both the chick and I. I will have to keep this in mind. The chick has finally turned her head...

Chick hatched with wry neck. (Pics)

Hello all, its been quite a while since I've posted. I have a chick who is about 35 hrs old. She was hatched with wry neck. I have been treating her for about 24 hrs with selenium crushed up in water, and nutri-drench. She originally held her head at 180° so you were looking at the bottom...

Help! My beautiful hen is CROWING louder than my rooster. (Easter Egger)

Another boy! Atleast you didn't end up with 4 roosters and only 2 hens like my batch this year haha. No luck.

    Hatchery silkie gender?

They are about 3 and a half months. The buffs matured like crazy. They became definite roos at about 2 months. My one pullet has no streamers, no comb or wattles and a cotton ball shaped hat. If this white turns out to be a pullet too, I'll be SO happy lol

    Hatchery silkie gender?

I have some hatchery silkies, one is a questionable roo. He doesn't act roo, doesn't have a comb or wattles, but has some streamers? The buff are my other roos. Only a week or so older. THANKS!

Help me pick a chicken breed!!!

Thank you both so much for the reply! I will look into those! I was kinda thinking of doing standard sized birds this time ( I grew up with over 300 easter eggers and araucanas, etc. But, I took a liking to silkies when I was younger and went into raising and showing them. I never actually got...
