    I removed the lock and took away the shattered boards all the hardware cloth was covered by boards

    Not sure what could do this other than a bear, last night our Run Chicken dorr was torn clean off the coop! I didn't get a picture of that but I did get a picture of the one door. (Attached) Not pictured is the lock that's usually on the door and the boards that are usually over the hardware...

    Weirder things have happened, science is so strange and so cool. This is such odd timing, friends cousin had an injured rooster in the first aid coop and saw something similar, I didn't see pictures but it was described as an egg with no shell, and looking like it had an ambulical cord...

    This may very well be a VERY stupid question.....in that case forgive me. How do you know if a duck (Jumbo Pekins(my own)) is pure bred?
