Purebred (?)

This may very well be a VERY stupid question.....in that case forgive me.

How do you know if a duck (Jumbo Pekins(my own)) is pure bred?

Where did you get them? Usually buying them from a hatchery or trusted breeder gives a good chance they are purebred. Do you have a picture of your duck?

We did get them from a hatchery!

I would say they are purebred.

Not sure but if you breed them and the babies all conform to standard then that is a good sign.
