My duckling has a white beak! What's it mean?

Yes, he turned out to be a drake, and the rest are female. Now he has a normal orange beak, but he has terrible arthritis, or something like that. He does great in the cold, but when it gets above 80 we have to put him in a basket and carry him around the house because it's too painful to walk.

Olive Eggers - Pullet or Cockerel?

Then they may have a rose comb, it's not straight and spikey, it's lumpy and bumpy instead, many olive eggers have a rose comb, including my rooster victor(the black and white one). Ours are full grown, but here's some examples of hens.( Well summer looking one is Easter egger, black one is...

3 week old Polish Tuburt! Any idea of sex yet?

Looks to be female, but ours (named Dingle because she's a dingle) we couldn't figure out what she was until she started to lay eggs. We are still confused, sometimes she crows and tries to get on the other's backs, and our rooster refuses to mate with her, but doesn't fight with her either...

Olive Eggers - Pullet or Cockerel?

Examine their combs, and size of their feet. The chicks with the biggest feet and biggest combs are most likely male, but some specific breeds of pullets have combs, though male combs begin to turn pink at around 3 weeks.

My newborn chick's leg doesn't bend, and is painful!

She's doing a bit better today, but we think her leg formed incorrectly while growing, so it is probably never going to bend, so she'll have to lean to get around by hoping on one leg. You're right, we did put her in a chair, and she was in more pain, and miserable, we Also banded her legs, and...

My newborn chick's leg doesn't bend, and is painful!

Our little chicks are hatching, and our 4th chick was VERY loud before popping, after pipping, and while zipping. She zipped half way around, skipped some, made another big hole, and skipped back to the pip hole, She then pushed with all her might, but some of the egg was still intact, so we...

    My duckling can't walk!

We just pour a bunch into the food and mix it up a lot. We could try and give it to her through a dropper, she won't eat very much today.

    My duckling can't walk!

They get niacin with every meal and in their water. Her hips are spread apart. They look broken, but they aren't. It is hard to tell. She can't stand tall like the other ducks. Today she can't stand at all, and won't drink water.

    My duckling can't walk!

I have a five/six week old pekin/white layer who has weird legs. We just noticed it a few days ago. She almost looks normal when you look at her when she is all dry and feathered out, so here are some pictures of her while wet. She is huge, it seems like her feet and legs are growing quicker...

My duckling has a white beak! What's it mean?

I have 4 Pekin ducklings, and all have normal yellow beaks except one. He/she has a white/faint rosey pink bill. He/she is also the biggest duckling we have, almost double the size of the smallest Pekin duckling. They are all about a month old. The duckling had a white beak from the time it...

    Chicken feet

I have a 4/5 month old Easter egger who has weird feet. She is the only one out of 27 chickens that has this. She does not seem to be in pain, but it's getting worse. She sleeps on a flat surface because we don't have a perch in her sleeping area. We are worried about how this will effect her as...

There's something wrong with my ducky!

Yes, same duck. Thank you for the advice. We seem to have a problem with protein! At the begining (these were our very first ducks ever), this same duck begun to have weird wings, and when we found out it was angel wing, it was too late to fix. I will go out and buy some mealworms today then!
