Looks to be female, but ours (named Dingle because she's a dingle) we couldn't figure out what she was until she started to lay eggs. We are still confused, sometimes she crows and tries to get on the other's backs, and our rooster refuses to mate with her, but doesn't fight with her either. She's the only chicken that will come up to anyone and let you pick her up. She just stands next to you and pecks your shoes. She doesn't look like a rooster either. Good ol Dingle.
