Originally it was one bird and I thought something tried to grab her, then I found the male wounds on others and assumes it had to be pecking... I just don’t know why.
I honestly don’t know, these girls have been together since October, no issues before. Idk if they are moody because the run has been wet due to the rain we have been getting. We also have not been letting them free roam this winter because they run into the streets, and last summer we lost half...
Any ideas why 5 of my 10 girls have bloody vents? I assume it is from pecking, but it started out of no where and now I have them all separated. Ideas for prevention? Warning graphic images below.
