    I have a black australorp and there are clear differences. My australorp has a greenish sheen to her black coat, and she has dark legs and feet. The head is different too. Any other guesses? I am trying to isolate a result by her appearance as a new chick. She presented just like a welsummer...

    No spots. I wish. A speckled sussex I a gorgeous bird. Based on my Google searches, at weeks I should already be seeing speckles.

    She looks nothing like my black Australorp, my black australorp has the jade green sheen and dark legs.
