    She gets Dumor layer feed, she has been wormed with Quest and she got Diflucan for the gleet (which cleared it right up!) The skin is pink and featherless, the drippage (eew) is sort of creamy and doesn't smell like gleet anymore. I will try to figure out how to upload pics

    Another sick chicken....I also have a Black Maran about 1 1/2 years old with yellow watery diarrhea, poor appetite (separate pen from the Australorps in my other question)....have read all sorts of things .....could be viral, bacterial, could be a number of things. None of the other chickens...

    I have a 7 month old Australorp hen with a dirty butt- started out as gleet, got that cleared up, it started again, got it cleared up, then pulled a big ol' worm out of her butt, wormed her...and her sisters in the same pen....she stayed dry for a few days and now she's dirty again. Skin...

    I seem to be having some problems with rat snakes getting into my coop and stealing eggs. I have tried a variety of plants that are supposed to discourage them to no avail. Has anyone ever tried a minnow trap and if they did how did it work?
