    Well, Zipporah didn't make it...maybe there was an egg stuck...I just couldn't see it to help her. I hope what she had wasn't contagious to the other girls. 😪😪

    Mmm... we feed them oyster shells, scratch, their regular feed and dried mealworms... not all at once🙂

    Coming out...she was on the nesting box...a little later she was walking around and that was there...no egg in nesting box though.

    Sounds like you have a huge yard :) We are in the city on about .23 acres (corner lot). We're hoping they will all be able to roost together eventually.

    Hi all!!! I am new to backyard chicks in Texas. We had chickens when we lived in Cali, so when we bought our house here, I was excited to get new chicks. I can't find the plans we used to build the coop we had in Cali so the internet search led me here. There are so many wonderful coops here...
