I have a hen that is eating eggs shell and all. The only remaining evidence is egg yolk on the bedding in the laying box. Problem is I don't know which of the girls is doing it.
why w3ould they eat eggs? They are well fed, watered and get lots of oyster shell, grit and fresh vegis to eat...
I was told by my local feed store that you can use gamebird starter for ducklings. Is this true, they don't have duckling starter. I'm going to have some hatchlings in the next few days.

I put together something very similar and the birds drink out of the cups but they don't push don on the plunger that refills the cups. Anyone else with this system have that problem?
I have the cup watering system shown in this pic. My chickens drink out of it but they don't push the little plunger to refill the cups. Any suggestions on "teaching them" how to do that??
