    Spring 2017 first timers post!

    Got a book from library. Going with a simple 6 bird capacity with a nice run for them. We have some acreage for them to roam. . The only concern I have is our hunting dog. She is well trained though and I think if she sees the chicks as part of our family she will be okay.

    Finally got the green light to get chickens from the hubby. Really excited to start my pet chickens. Ordering day olds for April.
