I've done a few incubations and every now and then I will get a chick (Quail) that will have his toes curled in. Is this caused by something I'm doing wrong during the Incubation period? Thanks in Advance Richard

I am going to venture into a crossbreed of a Mexican Speckled Quail and a Californian Quail. Just because, no other motive, just cuz. Now, my question regarding the crossbreeding. Which should be the roo? From what I've read, the offspring will be sterile, correct? Lastly... Is it possible?

Our flight pens are off the ground 4' so they're not finding things on the ground. I think they are wasting some and the rest is just what it is.

Hmmm, so if 50 Birds = 25lbs per Week and 300 Birds would equal 150lbs per week? Man I hope that's wrong because that's like exactly the amount we're going through and I feel that is ridiculous amount of food.

I ended up purchasing another Incubator and kept it on standby until the first set of eggs needed to go on Lockdown, at which time I deployed the new incubator for "Lockdown Purposes" This morning my 18 Online Eggs hatched out 16 baby Chicks and hopefully the other two are on their way as well!
