    So I acquired a pair of Blue Wyandottes. Can anyone tell me more about them? I googled them and can't seem to find alot about them or breeders etc. Very beautiful birds if I may say so!

    Found the remains of the Bantam today. Put her eggs in the bator. That's why I have the "game chickens". But the Maran is still on.

    More good news, the bantam hen came to the porch to steal some cat food today, then returned to the fence line that is covered in honey suckle vine. So I am going to see if I cant find her in the morning.

    Great news!!! I think the hens may have read this thread. Cuckoo Maran is 2 days on the nest. My lil bantam has disappeared and I haven't seen any of her eggs in awhile so I hope she is setting somewhere instead of making a good meal for the hawk.

    That wood be fox. Raccoon scat is tubular with blunt ends.

    Day 21 and no chicks....Chirping for 12 hours!!!!

    No cracked shell yet and we have heard chirping coming from the bator since 10am. This is my first so what do I do? The chirping has also decreased and I don't know what egg it is either. Plus we are in lock down. CLUELESS????

    Going to cull a couple of roosters!!!

    I am going to use the pithing method on them(I think). I have never used it before, so I hope all goes well. I will be posting pics, so please feel free to critique my work as this is going to be a learning experience. Although I am a hunter and thought maybe I could just shoot them in the head...
