5 week old, could have sworn was a hen because of the poof. Noticed it's been sparring a lot with my Silkie. It has horns above is beak too. A week ago- mybrighteye

Lol! I'm so excited! And I'm too impatient to try a germination test so I figured I'd just do a small batch and see if it would take :D I went ahead and started my second batch, hopefully everything works out. Thank you for all your help!- mybrighteye

So I thought I researched enough but guess not. *hides* I went to a feed store an hour away and picked up a 50 lb bag of barley to grow fodder. That kind of depth would be overflowing from the sides of my run. If all I can do is pine shavings and grass clippings will that even be enough to not smell?- mybrighteye

On deep litter someone recently posted on a FB group she was doing it in Austin, tx and said the smell was fowl. Then someone else said they don't recommend deep litter for hot climates. I'm torn!- mybrighteye
