    Frostbite advice???

He was also in quite a scuffle with our other rooster the day before. I notice now, that it looks a lot like bruising. Does anyone know or have you seen if that area can be bruised from injury?

    Frostbite advice???

What does "dubbing" mean? Sorry, still learning terms here. Also, if it's on his wattle (or under the beak) does that make a difference? Thanks!

    Frostbite advice???

Hello, This is the first time I have had an issue with possible frostbite on a chicken, and I'm a little nervous about how to treat it. First off, I don't know how it happened, as we keep our coop at around 36 degrees. It was negative temps yesterday (with the wind chill) outside and he was...

Can I really dunk my chickens in cool water on extremely hot days? (1st time owner)

I have read it other places, but the person I purchased from said I should never let them get wet. I'm a little confused and just want to be able to cool them off when the temps are unbearable here. I have 4 15 week old bantam cochins, and one Japanese bantam. Thanks for any advice in advance!
