    Hi mysunwolf, sorry I didn't see your post last night, wish I had. I'm going to try your remedies. hopefully we can pull her through. I'm all for culling the unwanted, we do the same. I also like the natural remedies, as we think it makes healthier chickens.

    I really agree with you Cooper12, It's always nice to see them so happy foraging for their little treats. Mine always hit the gates every morning, eager to see what little bugs are waiting for them oh, and not to mention the tastier eggs

    Hi ande, I am so sorry for your loss. Please don't listen to the ones against free ranging, many of us free range our feathered friends. It is always very hard to get over the ones you lose, and always seems to be the favorites. Maybe try to add some more hiding spots if you can. Best of luck...
