Hi. Have one lil chick aged approx 10 weeks old. She is black and 5 toes with little almost whisker type feathers coming out by ears. The one thing I am confused on is her comb.
I get they'e crossed. Just trying to work out what at least one of the mix is. Right now I can see of the black ones both have ear muffs. One has a single comb and 4 toes. The other has a rose or pea comb and five toes on both feet so am leaning towards faverolle x a bunch of other things.
So just wondering are easter eggers specifically just one breed or a mix of breeds. Like if I had a araucana/leghorn/barnevelder would that class as EE?

I have a chicken encyclopedia and wih blood spots it says sometimes a immature yolk is released instead of the mature ones and this causes the blood spots. Ie the immature one breaks away from the supply.
