My eggs sometimes have very small ( pinhead) red (blood?) dots on them. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for correcting me! I’m getting my facts mixed up. Sorry to the OP.They do not indicate a fertilized egg but are caused by the rupture of a blood vessel during formation. It's nothing to worry about. Your hen is fine and they're safe to eat![]()
