I'm glad that it's a normal behavior! I'm just like, Ma'am, no Ma'am. She doesn't appear to be broody (at least, not yet), she lays the egg and leaves it in the nesting box...hopefully the rest of the girls will follow suit!Very good to hear that Ging's bottom has cleared up and she's laying normal eggs now. It's not at all unusual for pullets to squat for their owners when they reach puberty! Just means she's ready to lay and breed.
