    Auto correct changed it. It’s supposed to say an egg. Oddly there isn’t much smell but she is dripping like gleet. I’m going to see what I can get to treat it today.

    Thanks, I soaked her for 20 min before the pic, if I scrub at all she starts bleeding. Going to soak again this morning. I’ll get an ointment on asap. I don’t see any maggots but will look harder.where can I get calcium citrate?

    Low hatch rate

    Would love any tips. Our hatch rate seems fairly low and with both hatches we have lost a chick in the same manner. 1st time around 22 eggs, 3 non fertile, 7 hatched 1 died. Second hatch 22 eggs 6 not fertile or didn't candle well at end, 8 alive, 1 died, 3 eggs still possible. With the dead...
